Funny Marriage Advice

Knowing that you need to better understand this topic I recommend that you take 5 minutes to read what we have to say.

Funny marriage advice may be one of the best ways to better your marriage without offending your partner. As taking advice can be very difficult, defusing the state of affairs with humor can be one of the best things that you can do for yourself and your spouse. By shrouding sound advice in comedy, you can work at improving your relationship while having fun at the same time.

However, if you want to make use of funny marriage advice, there are several things that you should keep in mind. What may be funny to you may be insulting to others. A great deal of clowning is about making fun of a stereotype or a situation. If your spouse fits the stereotype or situation, and your relationship is tense, you may do more harm than good. Because of this, it is crucial that you take the time to determine the mood of your spouse before you spring the advice on him or her. This will help make certain that the advice is taken how you want it to be taken.

If you are a friend of a couple that is having problems, funny marriage advice may be a safe route that you can take to help them improve their relationship without being viewed as nosey or not minding your own business. As sense of humor is socially accepted, you can crack jokes and hint at solutions to their problems without ever acknowledging that you know that their relationship is struggling. As many partners do not like their friends or family knowing that they are having issues, this is a very elegant solution.

Funny marriage advice can relate to many subjects. Sex is one of the most ordinarily targeted subjects, as this humor is normally discussed between adults as a matter of course. As no one likes to openly discuss problems with sex, this also makes it a perfect advice subject. As a great many tensions in a relationship are relating to sex, this is a safe subject to get around jokes about, so long as you are careful not to take them too far.

Funny marriage advice always runs the risk of going wrong. As jokes and humor are truly dependent on how people consider it, what may be amusive to you can truly hurt someone else’s feelings. When you are selecting your advice, try to find humor that will appeal to both sides of the couple. This will help prevent misunderstands. If you make an error, apologize! This will help make certain that your attempts at helping do not turn to permanent resentment.

Some Friendly Marriage Advice

You will undoubtedly, over the course of your marriage, hear and give a fair share of marriage advice. This can range from keeping your romance alive to how to decide who gets control of the remote. All of this is well and good as long as you remember one thing: even with advice, no marriage is perfect. You will still have to work things out, talk things over and try to figure out where you stand on every issue. Marriage is all about compromise and understanding. While this may be difficult at times, it is still essential if you want to make your marriage work. Still, even with that said, there are some basic marriage advice tips that will make things run a bit more smoothly.
Most marriage advice centers around the little everyday activities. This makes sense simply because these are the things you should not have to worry about. There are too many larger issues that you will have to deal with. Let us offer a few helpful marriage advice tips:
Keep to the issue: the worst thing you can do during a fight is to turn it into an insult competition. You are mad at a problem, not each other. Bringing in faults or even past mistakes will only make the situation worse.
Know that you will fight occasionally: you will experience problems. Nobody’s marriage is perfect. Even with marriage advice, you will still have to deal with issues. This does not mean that you have a weak marriage, just a normal one.
Understand the value of humor: while trying to make a joke during an argument can be ill-timed, knowing that life is not so serious helps keep things in perspective. You are less likely to argue in the first place if you can simply laugh about the things you can’t control.
Sometimes, you have to wait: even when an issue seems urgent, if you are both upset, it may be better to wait a few days. Give yourself, and your partner, a chance to think things over before you both say something you regret. This does not mean to forget the issue entirely but, rather, to let it cool for a bit before pursuing it. You may find it is not so important after a day’s reflection.
It’s all about the differences: learn to love your partner’s quirks and habits. While some may annoy you (and that will happen), you cannot demand that they change everything to suit you, just as they can’t ask that of you. While some requests are reasonable (not throwing their shoes in the middle of the room, for example), do not try to change them. Accept your differences and learn to reach a balance point.
This is all very basic marriage advice but you would be amazed at how many people fail to follow it. These are the same people that believe a marriage should be perfect and they should never fight. The only piece of marriage advice we can give to that is this: You will fight and you will have problems. But, if you love each other, you will remember that you can get through it, usually just by sitting down and talking it out.

Funny Marriage Advice to Make Your Marriage Stronger

Marriage is serious business. After all, for most people the person we marry is someone with whom we share our home, money, and love – and even our kids! And, marriage is forever – or at least that is how most people intend it to be when they get married. Most married people spend a significant amount of their personal time in close proximity to their spouses.

In order to take a lighter view on the serious business of marriage, I have collected some of my favorite funny bits of folk wisdom and advice on the subject of how to keep your marriage healthy, healthy, and strong. So, here is some funny marriage advice to make your marriage stronger:

1. Don’t date anyone you wouldn’t marry:

This one is really more of a comment on how to conduct oneself before marriage. For most people, dating is as much a way to have fun as it is to find a life mate. After all, dating often includes going out on the town, having some good food, maybe a bit of dancing – doing things that are outside of the ordinary, hum-drum of pattern daily life. But, this piece of advice implies something important about dating: it can lead to something much more serious. If you go out on date after date with someone about whom you are not necessarily crazy (but are just doing it to have a bit of fun), the strategy could backfire on you. Things might get serious before realize it, and you could end up compromising and marry the wrong person.

2. Don’t fight about money – there is never enough to go around anyway:

As most married couples will tell you, money is one of the biggest sources of conflict within a marriage. Money – and how we handle it – is so personal and no two people view it in exactly the same way. Combine that with the fact that most married couples share their money; that is, they add to and take from the same “pot” on a regular, ongoing basis. And, for most people, there just never seems to be enough money to do all of the things we want to do. The solution? Realize that there will probably always be a bone to pick between you regarding how each of you handles money – but that is no reason to fight. Just agree to disagree on the small stuff and move on.

3. If you are a woman: do not expect your husband to change after marriage:

Women, be honest with yourselves: if you are like most women, when you married your husband you had all sorts of specific expectations about ways he would become an even better or more pleasing person post-marriage. This is just a huge fantasy, so you need to let this notion go! Of course, married men do change over time. But, such change is not always necessarily for the better, and it is very unlikely that the things a woman dislikes most about her husband are going to magically go away. The best advice for women is to not expect your man to change and to try to accept him for who he is.

4. If you are a man: do not expect your wife not to change after marriage:

Calling all men: when you married that perfect little bride of yours, you formed a mental picture in your mind of what she was (or what you imagine her to be). As time passes, you may have noticed that the gap between the person your wife is today and that mental image of how she “used to” be is getting larger and larger. Fact is, most men start reminiscing about the way things were (or they way they thought things were) with their wives before they got married, lamenting the ways she has changed since then. Here is a little piece of advice: embrace the changes she has gone through and enjoy the ride!

5. Never have breakfast together:

This last one really hits home with me. Neither my wife or I are morning people. When we get up each morning, we need to give each other as wide a berth as possible, lest we risk getting our heads removed by the grumpy monster in the room. That means staying out of each other’s way for at least the first half hour in the morning. And, of course, having breakfast together immediately after getting up in the morning is completely out of the question!

Making a marriage successful requires a lot of hard work and patience. At the same time, keeping a good sense of humor about your marriage can actually be very good medicine.

Free Marriage Advices

Marriages are made in heaven, but, unfortunately couples have to lead their marriages on this mortal Earth! Though hundreds of experts provide free marriage advice of all sorts, no one has the real courage to say that marriage has to be proved right here on the soil! Marriage is a holy process, that binds two people close together and it also mandates that both should be honest and faithful to each other for the rest of their life. But, it never turns out this way! Marriages happen overnight and break the next day, due to several reasons and factors that are unique and individual to each couple. To make your marriage stable and lively, listed here are some free marriage advice and tips, using which you can ensure that most of the problems that affect a marriage, are kept at a safe distance:

• Speak only those words that are kind and honest! Words can make or break a relationship! Beware how you speak your words! Many marriages break just as a result of bitter quarrels that engage foul words and unkind remarks. Free marriage advice is never complete, without stressing on the importance of using good and kind words in the daily life!

• Never ever, offend your husband’s ego with caustic remarks. On the other hand, do not attempt to hurt the self esteem of your wife. Both are equally dangerous and risky! Be kind to each other and respect other’s strength and weaknesses.

• Love your wife honestly and sincerely, and never deceive her with wrong pretensions! Cheating on your wife is very dangerous and risky. Same thing applies to those lovely wives also! Be truthful to each other and maintain this honest relationship for the rest of your lives. Free marriage advice could not be better than this, as adultery and cheating are considered, as the two of most hated words in a marriage,

• Surprise your spouse with a special, surprising gift at least some times in a year. Gift something that is useful and close to each other’s heart. Let the gift revoke the previous good memories of your marriage.

• Free marriage advice counselors agree that marriage is a give and take process that involves couple’s active participation and help. Make sure that you understand each other’s needs completely and act according to what is agreed between you and your spouse.

• Ego and jealously are two bad things that can bring sadness to your married life. If you’re a selfish person or if you feel jealous of your spouse’s achievements, you’re on your way to spoil your own married life. Control these bad habits, as far as possible and let your spouse know that you’re proud of his/her achievements and deeds.

Free marriage advice comes in many forms and types; however you will need to be very cautious, while soliciting such advice from people.
